Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary

Loved the world over, the Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary is one of Coffs Harbour’s premiere attractions. Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary has been rescuing, rehabilitating, releasing, and caring for marine animals since 1970. Discover their conservation and education programs and how you can help protect our precious marine wildlife and their ocean habitats.

Without a doubt, the main stars at the multi award winning Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary are the dolphins and seals (Australian sea lions); supported by cheeky Little Blue penguins, turtles, and fish.

Visitors have the opportunity to get up close and personal with beautiful marine animals – interact with the dolphins and seals, enjoy a penguin talk and feeding, and spend time in the Solitary Islands Reefs Aquarium, learning about the incredible marine life around Coffs Harbour and even getting the chance to feed some of the marine fish. Guests can tour the Marine Wildlife Rescue, Rehab and Release centre, where dozens of sick and injured sea turtles as well as other marine wildlife are cared for.

If you have ever wanted to fulfil a lifetime dream to swim with the dolphins, you can do that at Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary. They offer a range of special, once in a lifetime, in-water experiences with Dolphins and Seals. Never have visitors had the opportunity to get so up close and personal with dolphins like they can during an Ultimate Dolphin Swim. Enjoy swimming and interacting with a dolphin in the lagoon pool.

A marine animal experience is available for all ages and ability levels, including shallow water encounters, the Animal Carer Experience for kids or Trainer for a Day for guests.

Their Creekside Café is now open 7 days a week from 7.30am to 2.30pm.

Why wouldn’t you want to visit Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary while on holiday in Coffs Harbour!
